The Wild is aimed squarely at river SUPing with special design features for white water paddling. The board's stability in flowing water is aided by it's dimensions, 9'6 long x 34" wide and 5.9" thick. With it's pronounced rocker profile the board will ride over bumps, waves and currents with relative ease. The board comes with a durable, low profile four fin / quad set up which allows for maximum grip while reducing grounding out. The numerous grab handles around the board make remounting easier and safer.
The board come in a range of package options with prices varying accordingly. All packages include the board, leash, titan pump, water resistant phone case, repair kit and the red classic wheeled backpack plus the paddle of your choice.
Carbon 100 - This performance paddle uses a carbon weave for greater strength whilst keeping the paddle super light and responsive.
Carbon 50 - The curve of this paddle’s carbon hybrid blade is performance-enhancing, and the shaft has a dynamic flex that will put extra spring and energy into your stroke.
Carbon Nylon - If you’re looking for similar performance to the Carbon 50 paddle but greater durability, this is the paddle for you. It has the same lightweight shaft but with the added durability of a nylon blade making it perfect for sharing amongst friends and family.
Alloy - The Alloy Nylon paddle is the entry-level paddle, but no less technical for it. The mid section of the paddle shaft is coated in soft-grip EVA adding comfort and grip without adding weight, and it has an ergonomic t-grip handle design which fits snuggly into the palm of your hand.
I bought this because it looked cool and I've used it for a few things on holiday. Not sure its as fast as my friends boards (I swear I'm stronger) but I surfed once and that was fun. It says its made for paddling whitewater but I don't think I'm good enough to do that and its fun to just paddle around. The paddles not the best ever but I guess that's what I get for buying the cheapest one.
